How to Play Millionaire for Life in New Jersey

Millionaire for Life is an exciting draw lottery where true to its name, you can become a millionaire, for life! If you win either of the top two prizes then you can choose to be either in the annuity or as a cash lump sum. Either way, you’ll be walking away with an impressive jackpot.

Draws take place every day at 10 PM CT, with each ticket costing $5, plus tax where states apply. See below for more on how to get involved.

Select Your Numbers

Decide on your five main numbers to play in Millionaire for Life. These can be any combination of numbers between 1 and 58. You’ll also need to pick your bonus ball to play, between 1 and 5.

Multi Draw: How Many Draws Will You Play?

Choose whether you would like to play in a single draw or in multiple draws, this can be marked as an option for your ticket when you purchase it.

Pay For Your Tickets

Millionaire for Life costs $5 per entry. You can pay either in person or through an online vendor.

Play it Again!

If you want to play the same ticket again, you can take it to any authorized retailer and ask to "play it again". Provided it was issued in the past 30 days, you'll be issued an identical ticket for the next applicable drawing, for the same cost.

Playing in other states

Cash for Life is played in a number of other states, and the core rules and prizes are the same. However, some aspects like the cut-off time for ticket sales and multi-draw options may be different, and only New Jersey has the Doubler add-on. If you do play outside New Jersey and win a prize, you’ll also have to claim your money in the same jurisdiction.
