Learn how to play Jersey Cash 5 with the help of the step-by-step guide below. It’s a really easy game to play, with great prizes up for grabs if you match enough numbers. Drawings are held at 10:57 PM ET every day, and you have until 10:53 PM to buy your tickets.

Choose your numbers

Start by selecting five numbers from 1 to 45. As an alternative to choosing your own, you could ask the retailer for a Quick Pick or mark the QP option on your playslip. A random set of numbers would then be generated on your ticket.

Decide on Xtra

Xtra is an optional add-on that gives you the chance to win bigger prizes. A multiplier - 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x - is randomly selected ahead of each draw and all non-jackpot prizes are increased by this amount.

Play multiple draws

You can enter just the next draw, or use the Multi Draw section of your playslip to enter your numbers for several consecutive days. It is possible to play up to 21 consecutive drawings, so you wouldn't miss a game for three full weeks.

Pay for your tickets

Check your selections and pay for your entries. It costs $2 for a single Cash 5 ticket, or $3 if you add the Xtra option.

How the Draw Works
